Kali

This is the sacred spot.
This is the energy that surrounds us all.
Shut the fuck up and listen to the world.
Be quieter.
The binds of the wind call.
There is so much more under the sounds you can hear.
Stop listening to the sounds.
Let the deeper music come to you.
The essence of Kali is emanating her energy.
She has always been here in the world,
always been waiting for you.
She waits for evil, for you
to arise to take your kingdom of souls.
There is a place for you that is absolute
peace

and cannot abide your absence.
The body and face you inhabit is an illusion.
You smother the god with your identity.
Meet the other like the kissing of gods,
like the water lapping at but also supporting
the land. There is no
difference from the sands beneath the sea
to the sands that you call earth.

The entire world spins in unity with itself.
The room you are invited into is a temple
to yourself and the gray ones outside
are the evil I am send to destroy.
The gray ones shadow that you are different
than me, but in My presence you
can feel the spirit that gave us rise.

Long song. Yes. My song is endless
when you hear me you will dance the dance
is endless too — the dance of the man
and woman that exists only in the coming
apart and coming together.
Does your heart break? Do you feel abandoned?

That is merely the cutting out, cutting away
of the heart from that which is itself.
The awakened heart comes to the Temple
of Venus with offerings of beauty not sacrifice.
Your god is my goddess. The prophets tell lies
who imagine a vengeful or a jealous god.

A woman invites you into her body. A goddess
invites you into the sacred presence. When you say,
I’m present with you always, you acknowledge
the divine even in your loneliest fears.
What’s the difference between the lonely man
and the fulfilled man sitting alone? Simply
the veil that blocks the self from the Source.

I am the Way. You are also the Way.
You have nothing to surrender. You are a god.
You only have to lose the shawl of humanness
to see the divine. You only have to become more
human.
